How does Botox work?
Botox uses a minuscule amount of a protein that temporarily stops the targeted muscles from moving. This allows the skin on top of these muscles to smooth out, creating a natural-looking, younger appearance.
Where can Botox be applied?

Does Botox hurt?
The needle used to inject the Botox solution is very tiny, and most patients only report slight, if any, discomfort upon injection. The whole process usually only takes a few minutes to complete. Additionally, because this treatment is only minimally invasive, there is no downtime afterward and you can resume regular activities immediately. Some patients do have temporary bruising or facial swelling following their treatment, but these side effects are typically mild.
